PARKING LOT MYSTERY AND BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT

Parking Lot Mystery

Therefore we proclaim the mystery of faith:
Christ has died.
Christ is risen.
Christ will come again.

The Book of Common Prayer

In the grocery store
parking lot, I ponder
the great mystery of faith:

not that the dead
king rose—but that
He would ever choose

to come again.

Benefit of the Doubt

We wrestle for strength—
wait in the dark at the feet
of the God we cannot see
who gives us answers
to questions we do not
even dream of asking.
